Events

This will be race 4 of Signal Knob Speedway 2019-2020 Dirt Late Model Point series race. 

The races will run in a rotation style format (all drivers will run all 8 lanes in each heat, main and feature). After all cars have been teched, race will begin with time trials, which will determine the heat line up. Each racer will be given 2 laps during the trial. Heat races will vary depending on car count. The winner (top 2 depending on car count) of each heat race will qualify for a spot in the A-Main. Non-qualifiers will have to race their way up through a series of mains. The mains will vary depending on car count. The top 8 racers will then compete in the A-Main Feature.

Practice starts at 12. The race will begin promptly at 2:00.

Race entry fee is $10 per car (one car per person) per race. Each race will payout 50%. Pay back will be determined based on car count. Points will be awarded for each class every week. Trophies will be given to the points champion of each class at the end of the series.

No Glue Open bracket drag race with first round buy backs. $5 per car with a 5 car maximum and $2 buy back with half going to the quickest reaction time of the night. Practice starts at 12. For more information regarding our classes, please refer to the rules tab on our website.

Point Series Rules:

There is a $20 intial buy in. All buy in money is 100% paid back at the end of the series. The pay back will be determined based on car entries. The car selected for this series must remain the same throughout the entire No Glue Bracket series. 5 points will be give per round and a 5 point bonus if you win the race with the chosen points car. This is a 10 week point series that will run through March of 2020. 

*You will still pay the $5 entry fee as normal for the race. 

Heads Up Phoenix races will start at 1.

Bracket racing will start at 3, as usual. Open bracket drag race with first round buy backs. $5 per car with a 5 car maximum and $2 buy back with half going to the quickest reaction time of the night.

This race is in memory of Rick Williamson. The Little World 100 began at Rick Williamson’s Cave Speedway back in 2005. Many of today’s local slot car racers started the hobby at The Cave Speedway. I personally raced there for many years and THIS was the race that everyone wanted to win (more than any other). I know many of us are so very grateful to Rick for providing a place that racers, including myself, could go and race and have a great time. We hope to carry on the same racing atmosphere from the Cave here at Strasburg Hobbies.

We appreicate Matt for allowing us to host this event in honor of Rick, it means a lot to us.

This race will include a 200 lap feature in the crate late class. The final feature of the night will be a 400 lap feature in the super late models. 

All rules for the classes can be found on our website. Controllers will be provided for racers if needed be. If you do not have a super late or crate late motor, we have them in stock for 12.95.
